Unemployment in Turkey stable at 11.2% in December compared to November

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the unemployment rate in Turkey decreased by 0.1 percentage points year on year to 11.2 percent in December last year and remained the same compared to November.

Meanwhile, in December last year the employment rate in Turkey was recorded at 47.0 percent, increasing by 0.3 percentage points compared to the same month of the previous year.
