According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the unemployment rate in Turkey increased by 0.1 percentage point year on year to 11 percent in 2018.
Meanwhile, last year the employment rate in Turkey was recorded at 47.4 percent, increasing by 0.3 percentage points compared to the previous year.
