Ukrainian metallurgical firms see increased pre-tax losses in Jan-Oct

The Ukrainian association of metal producers Metallurgprom has announced that in the first ten months of the current year Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises' pre-tax losses increased by 11.2 percent year on year, rising to UAH 15.9 billion ($672.33 million), despite the 19 percent year-on-year rise in the metallurgical enterprises' overall net income to UAH 165.5 billion ($6.98 billion) in the given period.
