Ukrainian metallurgical companies post loss of UAH 2 billion in Jan-Apr

According to the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine (Ukrstat), in the January-April period of the current year the Ukrainian metallurgical industry posted an overall loss of UAH 2.084 billion ($0.26 billion).

In particular, 51.3 percent of Ukrainian metallurgical companies recorded a combined profit of UAH 2.650 billion ($0.33 billion), while 48.7 percent of companies saw a combined loss of UAH 4.734 billion ($0.59 billion) in the given period.
