Ukrainian imports of iron ore increase in January-August

According to the Ukrainian association of metal mining producers Ukrrudprom, in the January-August period of the current year Ukraine's imports of iron ore increased by 67.6 percent compared to the same period of last year to 1.556 million mt, including 639,500 mt of iron ore concentrate, 312,100 mt of pellets and 596,100 mt of sintering ore. In August alone, Ukraine imported 226,200 mt of iron ore materials, including 133,700 mt of iron ore concentrate, 3,700 mt of pellets and 88,800 mt of sintering ore.
