Ukraine’s semi-finished steel imports rise by 21 percent in October over September

In October this year, Ukraine's semi-finished steel product imports saw a 21 percent increase month on month and a 127.4 percent growth year on year to 49,800 mt, of which 42,810 mt were supplied from Russia, 6,730 mt were imported from Belarus, and 190 mt were supplied from Germany.

Ukraine's expenditure on imports of semi-finished steel products in October were up by 31 percent compared to September, increasing to $32 million.

In January-October this year, Ukraine's imports of semi-finished steel products increased by about 78 percent year on year to 382,610 mt, valued at $226 million.
