Ukraine’s scrap exports drop by 15.5 percent in October from September

In October this year, Ukraine's ferrous scrap exports saw a 15.5 percent decrease month on month and an 81 percent drop year on year to 24,680 mt, of which 24,290 mt were delivered to Turkey and 390 mt were exported to Lithuania.

The value of Ukraine's scrap export sales in October was down by about 12 percent compared to September, decreasing to $8.05 million.

In January-October this year, Ukraine's scrap exports decreased by about 24 percent year on year to 552,980 mt, valued at $179.6 million.
