Ukraine’s ferrous product imports and exports rise in January-June

According to the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine (Ukrstat), in the first six months of the current year Ukraine's ferrous metal exports increased by 31.7 percent year on year to a total value of $9.444 billion, while exports of products made from ferrous metal went up by 73.1 percent to a total value of $1.450 billion.

Meanwhile, in the given period Ukraine registered a 55.7 percent increase year on year in its ferrous metal imports to $1.254 million and a 50.3 percent rise in its imports of products made from ferrous metal to $499.1 million.
