Ukraine's exports of ferroalloys falls 4.3 percent

According to the data released by the State Committee of Statistics of Ukraine, the country's exports of ferroalloys fell 4.3 percent, or 4,460 tons, month on month to 100,100 tons in March 2006. The export revenue decreased 0.6 percent, or $400,000, to $67.97 million at the same period. The exports of ferro silico manganese fell 8.2 percent, or 6,280 tons, to 70,270 tons at the period under the consideration. On the other hand, the exports of ferrosilicon and ferromanganese increased 12 percent and 13.1 percent, or 160 tons and 2,010 tons, to 1,490 and 17,380 tons respectively in March 2006 from March 2005. In March 2006, the export of ferroalloys decreased 9.4 percent, or 10,370 tons from March 2005.
