Ukraine issues production results for 2013

In 2013, Ukraine registered an unchanged finished steel product output compared to 2012 at the level of 29.038 million mt, a one percent increase in its crude steel output to 32.684 million mt, and a two percent rise in its pig iron production to 29.111 million mt, all year on year, according to the data issued by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers.

In the given year, Ukraine's production of steel pipes declined by 20 percent compared to 2012 to 1.615 million mt, while coke output decreased by seven percent year on year to 17.590 million mt.
