Ukraine boosts flat rolled exports 41 percent

The State Statistics Committee of Ukraine has announced that the country's exports of flat rolled products increased 41 percent month on month to 889,720 tons in March 2006. The export revenue increased 40 percent, in the same period, to $353.98 millions. HR exports grew 43.4 percent and CR exports grew 51.1 percent month on month to 706,160 tons and 122,840 tons respectively in March 2006. On the other hand, the flat rolled products exports dropped 0.2 percent year on year in March 2006.
