UAE-based Metal Park has announced that it has strengthened its cut-and-bend operations as part of efforts to support growing demand from the country’s construction and infrastructure sectors.
The company will introduce 25,000-30,000 mt per month of cut-and-bend rebar capacity starting from the second quarter of 2026, aiming to support large-scale construction and infrastructure projects across the country.
Capacity expansion to meet market demand
The company has upgraded its processing capabilities to provide enhanced cut-and-bend services for reinforcing steel, targeting improved efficiency and faster delivery times for customers. The move is aimed at addressing increasing demand driven by ongoing construction activity in the UAE.
The planned capacity expansion is equivalent to approximately 10-12 percent of the UAE’s total monthly rebar consumption and is being developed to meet increasing demand driven by energy, utilities and major infrastructure projects. The new facilities will incorporate advanced processing technologies to deliver high-volume, precision cut-and-bend rebar under strict quality and compliance requirements.
By expanding its cut-and-bend capacity, Metal Park seeks to offer more value-added services to contractors and developers, enabling better project execution and reduced on-site processing requirements.
Supporting infrastructure and construction growth
The development is aligned with continued investment in infrastructure and real estate projects across the UAE, where demand for processed reinforcing steel remains strong. The enhanced capability is expected to contribute to more efficient supply chains within the construction sector.
