Tosyalı Filmaşin ve İnşaat Demir Üretim Sanayi, a subsidiary of Turkish steelmaker Tosyalı Holding, plans to build two solar power plants in Osmaniye in southern Turkey, according to the statement by Turkey’s Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.

For the first project, the power plant, which will have an installed capacity of 24.79 MWm, is expected to annually produce 39.82 million kWh of energy. Meanwhile, Turkish steelmaker Tosyalı-Toyo, a joint venture of Tosyalı Holding and the Japanese steel producer Toyo Kohan, will build a solar power plant is Osmaniye with a power capacity of 19.10 MWp that will annually produce 31.26 million kW of energy to be used in the company’s cold rolling mill, as SteelOrbis previously reported.
