Turkey’s steel export volume up 14.1 percent in January

In January this year, Turkey's steel exports increased by 14.1 percent year on year to 1.49 million mt, while the value of these exports moved up by 26.9 percent year on year to $960 million, according to the data released by the Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TCUD). 
 
In the given month, Turkey's long steel exports rose by 10.4 percent to 953,000 mt, while flat steel exports increased by 13.2 percent to 202,000 mt, both on year-on-year basis. In the same month, pipe and tube exports of the country grew by 16.9 percent to 148,300 mt, year on year.
