Turkey’s PPGI exports up 43.5 percent in January-November

According to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in November last year Turkey's pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) exports amounted to 11,611 mt, up 8.5 percent month on month and up 7.78 percent year on year, while the revenue from these exports totaled $11 million, rising by 17 percent compared to October and up 25.8 percent compared to the same month of 2016. 

In the January-November period last year, Turkey’s PPGI exports increased by 43.5 percent to 125,377 mt, while the revenue from these exports amounted to $116 million, up 56.3 percent, both year on year.

Bulgaria was Turkey's leading PPGI export destination in the January-November period of 2017, with imports of 18,920 mt of PPGI from Turkey. In the given period, Bulgaria was followed by Romania and the US, whose PPGI imports from Turkey amounted to 17,769 mt and 9,736 mt respectively.
