Turkey’s Kocaer Çelik restarts production at A2 plant

Turkey-based steelmaker Kocaer Çelik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (Kocaer Çelik) has announced that it has restarted production at its A2 plant following the renovation of the plant and commissioning of new machinery and equipment at its production lines in parallel with its investment in value-added products.

The company aims to further increase its global competitiveness and exports with the production of value-added products, which will increase with the given investment.

The company suspended its A2 plant on April 24, as SteelOrbis previously reported. It is anticipated that the suspension will not affect the company’s annual production volume and sales.
