Turkey’s Diler commences trial production at its PC strand line

Turkey-based steelmaker Diler Iron and Steel has announced that it has started trial production at its new mill, DNA PC Strand, located on a 18,000 square meter enclosed area in Dilovası, Koaceli. The mill produces pre-stressed concrete wire (PC wire) and pre-stressed concrete strand (PC strand).

According to the company statement, DNA PC Strand has a fully automated surface treatment line with a capacity of 100,000 mt per year, which has environment-friendly regeneration and water treatment systems. With the future investments, the PC strand and PC wire lines, which have capacities of 30,000 mt and 10,000 mt per year respectively, are expected to increase their capacities to 100,000 mt per year in total.
