Turkey’s Cemtas: No crucial impact from Covid-19 on our orders

Bursa-based Turkish steelmaker Cemtas has said that it will continue its operations, stating that there has not been any crucial impact from the Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak on its business activities just yet.

Cemtas has stated that there has not been any cancelation of demand from its domestic and foreign customers and that there has been no significant disruption of its operations due to the coronavirus pandemic. Accordingly, it will continue production, shipments, receipt of deliveries, and payments without any change.

Cemtas said it has taken all required precautions to prevent the spread of the coronavirus within the scope of the public health guidelines released by Turkey’s Ministry of Health and the World Health Organisation. It also indicated that it will continue to update the public regarding all the latest important developments regarding its operations.
