Turkey's basic metals turnover up two percent in September from August

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistics Institute (TUIK), Turkey's monthly industrial turnover index in September this year increased by 2.6 percent month on month and was up 15.4 percent year on year, following the 4.5 percent month-on-month growth recorded in August.
 
In September this year, the industrial turnover index for the manufacture of basic metals in Turkey increased by 5.2 percent year on year and moved up by two percent from the previous month. In September, the industrial turnover index for fabricated metal product manufacturing, except machinery and equipment, in Turkey increased by 24.2 percent year on year and was down by 0.4 percent from the previous month.
