Turkey's basic metals turnover down 2.5 percent in October from September

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistics Institute (TUIK), Turkey's monthly industrial turnover index in October this year decreased by 2.7 percent month on month and was up 11.5 percent year on year, following the 2.6 percent month-on-month growth recorded in September.
 
In October this year, the industrial turnover index for the manufacture of basic metals in Turkey decreased by 2.7 percent year on year and moved down by 2.5 percent from the previous month. In October, the industrial turnover index for fabricated metal product manufacturing, except machinery and equipment, in Turkey increased by 15.7 percent year on year and was down by 6.1 percent from the previous month.
