According to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in March this year Turkey's monthly industrial turnover index increased by one percent compared to the previous month, while the calendar adjusted index was up by 23.6 percent compared to March 2017.
In March this year, the industrial turnover index for the manufacture of basic metals in Turkey increased by 3.5 percent month on month and was up 36.5 percent year on year.
The industrial turnover index for fabricated metal product manufacturing in March this year decreased by 0.1 percent month on month and was up 32.2 percent year on year.
