Turkey's basic metal turnover up 1.4 percent in April from March

According to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in April this year Turkey's monthly industrial turnover index increased by 1.4 percent compared to the previous month, while the calendar adjusted index was up by 22.3 percent compared to April 2018.

In April this year, the industrial turnover index for the manufacture of basic metals in Turkey rose by 3.8 percent month on month and by 13.7 percent year on year.

The industrial turnover index for fabricated metal product manufacturing in April this year decreased by 1.2 percent month on month and increased by 14.9 percent year on year.
