Turkey's basic metal turnover down eight percent in Dec from Nov

According to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in December last year Turkey's monthly industrial turnover index decreased by 1.3 percent compared to the previous month, while the calendar adjusted index was up by 10.8 percent compared to December 2017.

In December last year, the industrial turnover index for the manufacture of basic metals in Turkey decreased by eight percent month on month and rose by 9.4 percent year on year.

The industrial turnover index for fabricated metal product manufacturing in December last year fell by 0.8 percent month on month and increased by 9.2 percent year on year.
