Turkey's basic metal turnover down 3.4 percent in September from August

According to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in September this year Turkey's monthly total industrial turnover index increased by 1.7 percent compared to the previous month, while the calendar adjusted index was down by 1.7 percent compared to September 2018.

In September this year, the total industrial turnover index for the manufacture of basic metals in Turkey fell by 3.4 percent month on month and by 23.6 percent year on year.

The total industrial turnover index for fabricated metal product manufacturing in September this year increased by 2.7 percent month on month and by 0.8 percent year on year.
