Tonggang Group’s high-speed wire rod output in 2011 totals 934,565 mt

Jilin Province-based Chinese steelmaker Shougang Tonggang Group has announced that its high-speed wire rod output at its wire rod plant totaled 934,565 mt in 2011, up 106,572 mt year on year.
 
Tonggang Group's wire rod plant consists of two production lines, an old one and a new one. In 2011, the high-speed wire rod output reached 370,300 mt at the old production line and 564,200 mt at the new one (figures are rounded off to the nearest hundred), both constituting record volumes.
