TMK launches sales of steel billets produced at Seversky Tube Works

Russia-based TMK, one of the world's leading oil and gas steel pipe producers, has announced the launch of sales of steel billets produced at the electric steel-melting complex of its subsidiary Seversky Tube Works.

The complex produces continuously cast round billets for pipe steel grades with diameters of 150, 156, 360 and 400 mm. As of January 1, 2014, the company plans to master the production of billets with diameter of 290 mm.

The company's range includes basic carbon and alloy steel grades for the production of tubular products, in particular 10, 20, 20A, 20F, 20FA, 20KT, 30, 35, 45, 13HFA, 09G2C, 30HGSA, 40X, D, 30HMA, 32HG, 26HMFA, 32G2, 32HGMA, 38G2S, and 38G2SF. The production of other steel grades may also be possible.
