TMK-INOX commissions metal slitting line

Russian pipe producer TMK has announced that its subsidiary TMK-INOX, which specializes in supplying stainless steel pipes, has commissioned a new metal slitting line.
 
According to TMK, the new line is designed for slitting metal coils weighing up to 30 mt, with a maximum width of 1,600 mm and thicknesses ranging between 0.4 mm and 6.0 mm. 
 
With the new equipment TMK-INOX now has the ability to produce annually 8,000 mt of stainless pipe products in diameters ranging between 8 mm and 114 mm for the automotive, food, energy and construction industries.
