Tin prices put users into difficulty

According to recent news in the market, Indonesia's PT Timah Tbk, Peru's Minsur SA and Malaysia Smelting Corporation refuse increasing output to meet tin demand as tin prices have reached its peak for the last 14 years. Tin prices have increased to the level of $9'100 metric ton on London Metal Exchange. Meanwhile, the aforementioned producers produce almost half of world's tin. Moreover, that producers slowed down investments in new mines and the subject producers refuse to increase their output as the cost of tinplate has increased significantly for the last couple of years put tin users into difficulty.
