Tangshan Steel exports 207,000 mt of steel in 2009

Chinese steelmaker Tangshan Steel, a listed subsidiary of Hebei Steel Group, exported 207,000 mt of steel in 2009, registering revenues of $118.48 million.

The producer said that, despite the global financial crisis which led to the sluggish steel demand from overseas markets, it has exerted great efforts to develop new products and to attract overseas customers with its boron-added and galvanized products.
