Tangshan Iron and Steel inks export cooperation deal with Duferco

Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Tangshan Iron and Steel has lately inked an export cooperation framework agreement with Switzerland-based Duferco.

Duferco is the the world's second largest independent steel trader engaging in iron and steel production, distribution and trade, with an annual production capacity of 12 million mt, also having resident offices in Europe, North America, South America, the Middle East, the Pacific region and Asia. Tangshan Iron and Steel and Duferco started their cooperation since 2007. To date, Tangshan Iron and Steel supplies around 40,000 mt of steel products per month to Duferco.

Xie Haishen, deputy general manager of Tangshan Iron and Steel, said this cooperation is of great importance to improve their product visibility and increase international influence. Meanwhile, Tangshan Iron and Steel is to further improve the quality of the products and upgrade products to meet the needs of Duferco.
