Duferco and Tangshan Steel to continue collaboration

On a visit to Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Tangshan Iron and Steel Group (Tangshan Steel), Matthew De Morgan, CEO of Swiss-based Duferco International Trading Holding Ltd (Duferco), agreed to continue cooperation with the Chinese steel producer and to further enhance the share of Tangshan Steel's steel products in the international market.

Duferco is the world's second largest independent steel trader, mainly engaging in the production, distribution and sales of steel products. It has 46 offices and 24 service centers in a total of 40 countries across the world. Since 2007, the Chinese steel producer Tangshan Steel has been constantly enlarging its market share in the world with the assistance of Duferco. During the first nine months of the current year, Tangshan Steel sold over 500,000 mt of cold rolled coils to more than 30 countries worldwide in collaboration with Duferco.
