On June 25, Hebei Province-based Tangshan Iron & Steel Group released its July ex-factory prices for HR and CR. All prices were down by RMB 200-350/mt ($26-46/mt) compared with June. The details are as follows:
1. HRC
Prices have decreased RMB 350/mt ($46/mt) from June levels. As a result, the ex-factory price of Q235 of 2.75 mm thickness is RMB 3,870/mt ($509/mt), while that of Q235 of 5.5 mm thickness is RMB 3,800/mt ($499/mt).
2. CRC
Prices have been reduced by RMB 200/mt ($26/mt). Following the adjustment, the new price of SPCC of 1.0 mm thickness is RMB 4,700/mt ($618/mt).
3. Full Hard
Prices have decreased RMB 350/mt ($46/mt). Thus, the new price of SPCC of 1.0 mm thickness is RMB 4,200/mt ($552/mt).
All the above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of June 25, 2007.
