TAMSA to build 450,000 mt seamless pipe production line

Luxembourg-based Tenaris Group's Mexican subsidiary Tubos de Acero de México, S.A. (TAMSA) is planning to build a seamless pipe production line with an annual capacity of 450,000 mt in specifications from 60 mm up to 177 mm. The total investment in the project will be $850 million, and 70 percent of production will be destined for export. Mexico's Pemex oil company is the key domestic customer of the company.

Techint Engineering and Construction will be responsible for the construction of the project.
