In July this year,
Taiwan's basic metal and basic metal product export orders amounted to $2.37 billion, up two percent compared to June and increasing by 1.8 percent compared to July 2013, according to
Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs. The country's basic metal and basic metal product export orders had increased by 8.8 percent and by 4.7 percent in June and May this year respectively, both on year-on-year basis.
On the other hand, the country's basic metal and basic metal product export orders in the January-July period of the current year amounted to a value of $16.55 billion, rising by 5.3 percent on year-on-year basis.
