Switzerland-based steelmaker Swiss Steel Group has announced that it has launched a new eco-friendly product called “green steel stainless+” that meets the highest ecological standards.
Being corrosion and heat-resistant, this green stainless steel product, which is made of at least 95 percent recycled materials, can be used for a wide range of applications in sectors such as construction, automotive, household appliances, medical and aerospace.
“Our scrap is carefully sourced and sorted, mainly from Europe. These measures have enabled us to reduce Scope 3 emissions at Stainless+ by over 75 percent,” the company stated.
