Carmaker Subaru's North American plant, Subaru of Indiana Automotive Inc. has had to reduce production at its Lafayette, Indiana plant due to a shortage of auto parts.
The shortage has stemmed from the 9.0 magnitude earthquake that struck Japan on March 11, which halted or slowed Japanese shipments offshore.
