Strike at Venezuelan Sidor continues

According to recent news in the market, the strike at Venezuelan steel producer Sidor, which began on April 22 with the participation of 11'000 workers, still continues. The workers now threaten the company officials to start more radical actions unless a compromise is reached with the company about back pay and company stocks. As reported by SteelOrbis yesterday, Sidor had to stop its operations and all shipments due to the strike, costing $3 million a day.
