Strike at Israeli ports still ongoing

The strike by the port workers at the three important Israeli ports Ashdod, Haifa and Eilat, with the purpose of protesting the privatization plans is still not over. The strike that has been going on since last Tuesday is stated to be handled as a serious matter by Israeli government and officials. The ports are playing an important role in the country's trading. Sources informed SteelOrbis that the officials express such a strike will not be allowed to continue and they will study on the termination of the strike as soon as possible. The strike is expected to end in a few days.
