As of June 21, the aggregate inventory of five main finished steel products (rebar, wire rod, hot rolled coil (HRC), cold rolled coil (CRC) and hot rolled plate (HRP)) in 26 major markets in China totaled 15.427 million mt, down 11,000 mt week on week but up 1.11 million mt year on year, indicating a decrease for the 18th consecutive week, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics.
In particular, aggregate inventory of rebar and wire rod showed an increase of 1.63 million mt year on year.
