In July of this year, South Korea's new car registrations decreased by 12 percent month on month to 20,518 units, up 16.4 percent year on year, according to the data released by the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association (KAIDA).
Meanwhile, in the January-July period of this year, South Korean new car registrations rose by 18.3 percent year on year to 160,627 units.
