In June this year, South Korea's new car registrations increased by 17.5 percent month on month to 27,350 units and were up 41.1 percent year on year, according to the data released by the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association (KAIDA).
Meanwhile, in the January-June period of this year, South Korean new car registrations rose by 17.3 percent year on year to 128,236 units.
