Hubei Province-based Chinese company Wuhan Shuangqiang Chemical Co. has announced that it plans to build a steel sheet
production facility with an annual output capacity of 600,000 mt. Inner Mongolia-based Beris Engineering and Research Co. will be responsible for construction work on the project.
The new steel sheet
production facility, which will be located in the city of Anlu in Hubei, is expected to cost a total of RMB 997.54 million ($156.72 million). Phase one of the project will involve the
production of high-precision cold rolled sheet, while phase two will focus on
production of non-grain-oriented silicon steel of 50W470 and 50W600 grades.
