Shougang’s H1 net profit falls 82.77 percent

On August 19, Chinese steelmaker Shougang has released its financial report for the first half of 2009.

Accordingly, the company registered a total turnover of RMB 10.865 billion ($1.59 billion) and a net profit of RMB 94.865 million ($13.89 million) in the first half of 2009, marking respective decreases of 25 percent and 82.77 percent year on year.
