Shougang Mining produces 1.2161 million mt of iron ore concentrate in Q3

On October 16, Beijing-based Chinese steel producer Shougang Group announced that in the third quarter of the current year its mining subsidiary Shougang Mining Co. produced 1.2161 million mt of iron ore concentrate. Meanwhile, Shougang Mining's outputs of iron ore pellets and iron ore sinter in the given period totaled 858,800 mt and 2.8376 million mt respectively, both exceeding the production targets for the quarter.

For comparison, in the first quarter this year Shougang Mining's outputs of iron ore concentrate, pellets and sinter had totaled 1.2071 million mt, 927,800 mt and 2.8569 million mt respectively.
