Shougang Jingtang registers record daily crude steel output

Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Shougang Jingtang United Iron & Steel Co. (Shougang Jingtang), a subsidiary of Shougang Group, has announced that it produced 27,840 mt of crude steel on May 1, constituting an all-time record daily crude steel output for the steelmaker.

In addition, Shougang Jingtang said it plans to produce 731,000 mt of steel slab in May, 29,000 mt more than the target volume for April.
