Shaoguan Steel’s special steel bars approved by IATF

Shanghai-based Chinese steel giant Baosteel Group has stated that special steel bars produced by its subsidiary Guangdong-based Shaoguan Iron and Steel Co. (Shaoguan Steel) have been approved by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) and received ISO/TS16949: 2009 quality management system certification, indicating that the products in question have been approved for application in the automotive sector.
 
Shaoguan Steel began preparations for this quality management system certification in December 2012, while it passed two audits for certification in November and December 2013, with the audits performed by the British Standards Institution (BSI).
