On July 3, Guangdong Province-based Shaoguan Steel announced the latest ex-factory prices for hot rolled plate. The details are as follows:
The prices of 6-8 mm have been raised by RMB 300/mt ($39/mt) while prices for 14-20 mm have remained unchanged. The new price of 14-20 mm Q235 in Guangzhou is RMB 4,350/mt ($572/mt).
The above price includes 17 percent VAT and is effective as of July 3.
