Coking coal prices in China's Shanxi Province have risen by RMB 70-80/mt ($11-12/mt) over the past month under the influence of the restructuring of the coal industry in the neighboring province of Hebei which has caused a reduction in coking coal production. Accordingly, in Hebei Province coking coal prices have hit peak levels for the past thirty weeks.
