Shandong Steel sees 26 percent fall in operating revenue in H1

Chinese steelmaker Shandong Iron and Steel Group (Shandong Steel) has announced that in the first half of the current year it registered an operating revenue of RMB 27.165 billion ($4.41 billion), down 26.01 percent year on year, while it posted a net loss of RMB 797 million ($129.38 million) for the given period, with a net loss per share of RMB 0.1239, compared to a net loss of RMB 191 million ($31.01 million) in the first half of 2013.
