Sha Steel’s welding wire enters overseas market

Jiangsu Province-based Chinese steelmaker Sha Iron and Steel Co. (Sha Steel) has announced that it has signed a contract with Japan-based Nippon Steel & Sumikin Welding Co. for supply of 500 mt of its welding wire, marking the entry of this product into the overseas market.
 
This year, Sha Steel has been focusing on improving the performance and quality of its welding wire. Meanwhile, Sha Steel's sales volumes of welding wire have increased to 15,000 mt per month.
 
Nippon Steel & Sumikin Welding Co. is a joint venture of Japanese companies Nippon Steel and Sumitomo Metal Industries.
